1. FF William St. George (SOC) Plaque Dedication
On Saturday, June 28th, at 10am, a plaque dedication will be held honoring the memory of FF William R. St. George (SOC) who died on July 1, 2007. The dedication will take place in the quarters of Special Operations Command, located at 750 Main Street, Roosevelt Island, NY. For more info call SOC, 212-755-8684.
2. 9/11 Memorial Garden Dedication
On Sunday, July 6th, 1pm, at Firemen's Park located on the c/o Oregon & Peconic Ave., Medford, NY. This is across the street from the Medford FD (171 Oregon Ave.) which will be hosting this 9/11 Memorial Garden dedication ceremony in memory of Joseph V. Vigiano (NYPD), John T. 3. FDNY 9/11 Remembrance Hockey Tournament
On Monday, September 8th to Wednesday, September 10th at the Aviator Sports Complex, Floyd Bennett Field in B'klyn, NY, the FDNY Hockey Team will organize this hockey tournament benefiting various FDNY charitable funds. 4. FDNY Anchor Club Annual Picnic At Schervier Nursing Home
On Thursday, July 10th, 10am, at Frances Schervier Nursing Home, located at 2975 Independence Avenue, Bronx, NY. Volunteers are needed to assist moving wheelchair patients and serving lunch & refreshments at the Annual Anchor Club Picnic. 5. 7th Annual Terry Farrell (R-4) Memorial Golf Outing
On Monday, July 21st at the Brentwood Country Club in Brentwood, Long Island. Breakfast will be served at 8am followed by a 9am shotgun. 6. 8th Annual FDNY Night at Keyspan Park
On Friday, July 25th at 7pm, the Brooklyn Cyclones will play the Staten Island Yankees at 1904 Surf Ave. B'klyn. Tickets: $15 each for grandstand, $10 each for bleacher seats.
