1. 3rd Annual World Trade Center Run to Remember
On Sunday, September 4th at 9:30am support the September 11th Families' Association and Tribute Center by participating in the 3rd Annual Trade Center Run (or Walk) to Remember. The event will take place on Governors Island. Registration fee: $35 for 5K or 3K Family Fun Run/Walk; $5 for children's fun run (includes finisher medal); $40 on the day of the race. 2. Friends of Firefighters Fundraiser
On Thursday, September 8th from 6-10pm at ReVision Lounge & Gallery located at 219 Ave. B (btwn 13th & 14th Street) actor & former FDNY firefighter Steve Buscemi will kick the night off with a welcome message. Tickets: $50 includes beverages, raffles, and autographed Rangers hockey stick. Attendees must be over 21 years of age. Proceeds benefit Friends of Firefighters. 3. 9/11 Candlelight Vigil
On September 11th at 6pm a Candlelight Vigil hosted by the FDNY Retirees, Staten Island Division, will be held. Location will be on the front lawn of the Alice Austen Museum located at Hylan Blvd. and Edgewater Street overlooking the harbor in the Rosebank section of Staten Island. Complimentary food and refreshments will be served. Bring your own lawn chairs.

4. 9/11 Memorial at Hunter Mountain
On Saturday, September 17th at 1pm, the village of Hunter and Hunter Mountain are honoring those who were lost on 9/11. The dedication of the 10th Anniversary 9/11 Memorial, made of WTC steel, will be held in Dolan's Park at the base of Hunter Mountain on Ski Bowl Road. All off-duty members and their families are invited to take part in the ceremony. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform. 5. FF Stephen P. Russell (E-55) Memorial Skydive
On Monday, September 19th, from 10am-5pm, the 4th Annual FF Stephen P. Russell Memorial Skydive will be held at Blue Sky Ranch, Gardiner, NY (www.skydivetheranch.com).
