CD-73s From Deutsche Bank Fire - Advice

The UFA has been advised that the Fire Department will be issuing a CD-73 for all members who worked at the Deutsche Bank fire. A copy of that CD-73 is available from the ufanyc.org homepage. It is meant to cover the vast majority of firefighters who were at the site. This form was prepared with input from the UFA.

However, we feel it necessary for firefighters who operated inside the building to be more descriptive about their exposures. We have drafted an additional proposed CD-73, which is also attached.

We strongly urge firefighters who were in the building to make out their own CD-73 using our proposal as a guideline. If you do submit your own CD-73, you must make sure that it is properly filed. If you are relying upon the Department's CD-73, you should also make sure that it was filed so that you are fully protected.

If you have any questions about how to best protect your interests, please call the UFA Health & Safety Office.

Fraternally,

Stephen J. Cassidy
