The trial against the three men who assaulted and severely injured FF Richard Berkhout of E-298 on September 11, 2006 has ended, with convictions. The sentencing will take place on February 4, 2008 in Suffolk County Criminal Court. The family has requested available Firefighters to show their support by attending and to wear a shirt identifying yourself as a Firefighter. WHERE: Arthur M. Cromarty Court Complex (Criminal Court Building), 200 Center Drive, 3rd floor, Riverhead, N.Y. 11901, inside Judge Robert Doyle's courtroom on the 3rd floor.
WHEN: Monday, February 4, 2008 at 9:30 am.
DIRECTIONS:
- From Sunrise Highway take Route 61 North to Route 51 for 7 miles, the Criminal Court Building will be on the left side.
- From the LIE, take Exit 71S to Route 24 for 4 miles, pass the County Jail, and make the 1st right turn.
NOTE: To enter the court you will need to pass through security so please allow time for this procedure.
