2. NJ Nets Half Price Ticket Offer
Discounted tickets are now available for 6 select NJ Nets basketball games at the IZOD Center played Feb. 10th thru April 11th (dates: Feb. 10th, March 1st, 8th, April 1st & 11th). 3. FDNY Emerald Society Annual Scholarship Exam
On Saturday, March 7th, 8:30 am-11:30am at Sacred Heart School, 457 W 51st St, Manhattan. Children graduating from 8th Grade or J.H.S. in 2009 are eligible if a parent or sibling is a member of the Emerald Society in good standing. Applications may be obtained from Emerald Society Delegates and Borough Officers. Applications should be mailed to the Scholarship Chairman, William P. Treanor, 98 Bay Street, Bronx, NY 10464, 718-885-0648.
4. Columbia Association 2009 Scholarship Competition
REMINDER: Applications for eligible family members of the Columbia Association are being accepted for H.S. & College Awards as follows: Candidates for College Awards (12th Grade Students) must submit applications, along with a copy of the Candidate's SAT scores, before April 1, 2009. Candidates for High School (8th Grade Students) must submit applications before March 1, 2009. Eligibility: Candidates for these awards may compete if a parent (natural, step or foster) is a member in good standing of the Columbia Association. Children of deceased members, who were in good standing at time of death, may also compete.
