DESCRIPTION:2025 UFA SCHOLARSHIP FUND – 8/1/25 – 10/1/25 \n\nApplication Period:\n\nFriday\, August 1\, 2025 – Wednesday\, October 1\, 2025\n\n\nEligibility: \n\nDependent children of active\, retired\, or deceased Firefighters\, Fire Marshals & Marine Wipers\, Pilots and Engineers who are full-time students up to age 23.\nActive UFA members and their spouses attaining an undergraduate education.\nMust be enrolled in an accredited college\, trade or vocational school full-time as of the 2025 Fall Semester.\nHigh School and Graduate students are not eligible for awards.\n\n\nApplication Form – Be sure to use the appropriate application form! \n\nAll applicants\, including LOD & Non-LOD must submit an application form & proof of enrollment.\nClick HERE for the Active/Deceased Members and Dependents Application.\nClick HERE for the Retired Dependents Application.\nApplications will also be posted on our website at org/philanthropy\n\n\nProof of Enrollment (for the 2025 Fall Semester\, Full-Time (12 credits minimum) to be Submitted with Application\n\nOfficial letter from the school confirming enrollment and credit load (not an acceptance letter)\nOR official schedule showing number of credits must be submitted with application.\nApplicants missing this will be disqualified from consideration.\n\n\nAwards:\n\nThe annual number and amount of scholarships are dependent upon the amount of available funds. If applications exceed the number available\, awards will be selected by lottery.\nStudents may receive a maximum of four (4) UFA Scholarship Fund Awards.\nUFA Scholarship Fund awards are available once per year\, not per semester.\nAward checks will be mailed to the address provided on the application.\n\n\nApplication Submission: \n\nApplications must be submitted with the correct application form & proof of enrollment.\nMail via US Postal Service Return Receipt to avoid unnecessary delay and to ensure receipt.
