The Firefighter Thomas J. Foley Memorial Scholarship Fund was established on 2001 as a tribute to an American hero who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. The program is intended to provide a lasting legacy to the life of firefighter Thomas J. Foley by assisting the children of fellow FDNY firefighters in meeting the expenses of post-secondary educational costs. College Scholarships offered for students enrolling in an accredited two or four year college or university within the continental United States.
