The Fire Department Holy Name Society, Manhattan, Bronx, and Staten Island, will hold its 92nd Annual Communion Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Sunday, April 24th at 10:15 am. The breakfast will follow at the New York Hilton Hotel, 6th Avenue and 53rd Street at 11:30 am. During the breakfast the Holy Name Society will honor two outstanding men; BC Gene Kelty, B-10 and retired Lt. James Hayhurst, E-259. This year we will present the Father Mychal Judge Humanitarian Award to the FDNY Fire Family Transport Foundation recognizing their efforts in assisting families of Firefighters in their times of greatest need. Our guest speaker will be former FDNY Captain Tom Colucci, L-21 who retired after suffering a devastating injury. Tom was ordained a Deacon in 2015 and will be ordained to the priesthood on May 28th by Cardinal Dolan. Donations: $55 per person and $60 at the door.
