The Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial honors more than 7,400 professional fire fighters from across our nation who died in the line of duty since 1918. It includes International Association of Fire Fighters members who have died on the job, as well as the alarming number who succumbed to chronic illnesses linked to the fire service such as heart disease and cancer.
