2018 UFA SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS
Applicants must currently be enrolled in college, trade or vocational school. This scholarship is for dependent children of active, retired or deceased Firefighters, Fire Marshals or Marine Wipers who are full-time students up to & including age 23 for UNDERGRADUATE education. Active members and their spouses are also eligible. Dependent children, spouses of LOD deceased UFA members, & dependent children of non-LOD deceased UFA members are eligible to receive scholarships for undergraduate education but must still fill out an application & provide proof of enrollment. Applications will be available beginning today, Tuesday, August 1st. Please go to www.ufanyc.org/funds/scholar911.php to obtain the 2018 UFA Scholarship Fund Application and Guidelines. Please be sure to read the guidelines! Deadline: MONDAY, OCTOBER 1st. PLEASE NOTE: There are separate applications for active, deceased and retired members.
