Virtual Remembrance

The IAFF invites members to join the 2020 Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial Virtual Remembrance to honor the fallen whose names will forever be etched onto the Wall of Honor.

• 11:00 AM Mountain Time / 1:00 PM Eastern Time

• No IAFF or Colorado Springs Local 5 staff will be at the site on the day of or days leading up to this year‚àö¬¢‚Äö√ᬮ‚Äö√묢s virtual remembrance.
• All 2020 families are invited to the 2021 Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial service on September 18, 2021, in Colorado Springs, where they will receive flags and experience the full magnitude of the honors provided at the traditional annual ceremony.

Sharing Virtual Tributes

• Members can show solidarity by sharing tributes and remembering fallen members online through social media.
• Share a tribute from now through September 19 using the IAFF graphic (shown here) and the hashtag #IAFFWallofHonor.
• Members can also create and share their own tribute videos or photographs honoring the fallen.
• Posts can include honor guard, pipes and drums, affiliate leadership and family of those being remembered.
• All COVID-19 precautions and safety measures should be maintained when creating tributes.
