A Memorial Mass commemorating the 45th Anniversary of the Waldbaum’s Fire will be held on Wednesday, August 2nd at 10:30am at St. Brendan’s Church (1202 Avenue O) in Brooklyn. Hosted by Engine 254, Engine 276, Ladder 153, Ladder 156, Battalion 33 and Battalion 42, the Mass will honor the memory of the 6 firefighters who made the Ultimate Sacrifice at the tragic fire that broke out in a Brooklyn Waldbaum’s supermarket on August 2, 1978. Members and families are welcome. Members are asked to attend in Class A Uniform.
