On Monday, March 11, 2024, a fundraiser will be held at Grant City Tavern on Staten Island, from 7:00-10:00pm, to benefit the family of Battalion Chief Mike Maiz.  Mike has proudly served the Department for 28 years and is currently assigned to the HazMat Battalion.  On December 27, 2023, Mike suffered a heart attack that resulted in brain trauma.  The fundraiser seeks to help Mike and his family in the same way that he was always so willing to help others.

A cash donation of $100.00 at the door goes towards food, open bar, entertainment, and an auction.  Raffle tickets are $100 and are available for purchase now. You don’t need to be present to win.
