The FDNY Emerald Society will be holding their first meeting of the year on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 8:00 PM. The meeting will be held in Queens, at the Knights of Columbus, located at 333 Beach 90th Street in Rockaway Beach. Guest speakers include UFA Queens Trustee Dennis Tveter, UFA Brooklyn Trustee Doug Carroll, LeRoy McGinnis of the NYC Fire Pension Fund, and Retired Members Association Lt. Jim Hayhurst. Refreshments and food will be provided. Please note the next meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, in Long Island at the Irish American Society of Nassau, Suffolk and Queens.
