Applications for the Fire Bell Club Scholarship Award are now available. The award is a one-time grant of $1,000. Eligibility is as follows:

• Active Firefighters and Fire Officers who have been accepted or are attending an accredited institution of higher learning
• Firefighters/Fire Officers pursuing a degree in Fire Service Administration, Public Service Management, Nursing or a related Fire Service discipline and who have completed a minimum of twelve credits.
• Written statement of 500 words explaining why an applicant should be considered for the award.

Applications are due by April 27, 2018. The winner of the award will be announced mid-June. Applications can be obtained by emailing Jacqueline Merveil, FDNY Registrar/Academic Advisor at jacqueline.merveil@fdny.nyc.gov or by calling 718-281-8465.
