As notified by the Police Department, 13 NYPD members, including FDNY Firefighter Terence McShane, are having Transit Bureau K-9’s named after them at the NYPD Police Academy, located at 130-30 28th Avenue, College Point, NY, on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 11:00am. After working as a New York City police sergeant, Firefighter Terence McShane, Ladder 101, joined the Fire Department in 1999, and served the Department until September 11, 2001, when he made the Ultimate Sacrifice. Members are welcome to attend the ceremony.
