The FDNY is now accepting applications for this year’s Firefighter Thomas Brick Scholarship Program, named to honor the fallen firefighter. College scholarships are available to all active FDNY Fire Officers and Firefighters who are currently enrolled or plan to take one or more courses during the 2014-15 Academic Year. Scholarships of $2,500 will be awarded and can be used for course tuition and textbook costs. Applications are available on the FDNY Intranet and should be mailed, or faxed 718-999-1671, to the Chief of Department’s Office by May 9, 2014.
