The IAFF has informed us that due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the 34th IAFF Fallen Firefighter Memorial Service will be held virtually this year for the health and safety of all involved in the annual ceremony.

The service scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 19, 2020, will still be held, and the names of the fallen firefighters being memorialized will still be engraved on the Wall of Honor and called out during the ceremony, which will be held without attendees. Instead, the 2020 Memorial will be respectfully broadcasted in a virtual format.

All 2020 honoree families will be invited to attend the 2021 Fallen Firefighter Memorial, when a traditional ceremony recognizing fallen members from both years will be held, and all families will receive their flag.
