The Lt. John M. Clancy/FF Jimmy O’Shea Memorial Scholarship Fund will present a minimum of eight $1000 awards to full time college students who are children of active members of the Department. To be eligible, you must complete an application and provide proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university by September 10, 2014. For applications send a stamped, self addressed envelope to FF Rich Berkhout, E-298 (ret), 26 Newport Beach Blvd., East Moriches, NY 11940. The Scholarship Awards will be randomly selected through a lottery at the reception following this year’s Lt. John M. Clancy/FF Jimmy O’ Shea Memorial Scholarship Golf Outing. The golf outing will take place on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Mill Pond Golf Course, Medford NY. The outing is all-inclusive and costs $165.
