DCAS has announced that the filing period is now open for the NYC Mayor’s Graduate Scholarship Program (MGSP). All City employees have the opportunity to apply for graduate scholarships through funding made available by participating MGSP colleges/universities in the New York City area. MSGP is a competitive scholarship program for City employees that offer partial or full scholarships in a wide variety of fields such as Computer Science, Education, Business and Public Administration, and other profession-specific programs. To be eligible you must be a full-time City government employee; have completed an undergraduate degree by the fall 2020 semester; and be actively employed by the City of New York at the time of application and while pursuing your degree. All applications must be sent to Lizzette Perez-Cruz, FDNY College Advisor/Registrar, Bureau of Training/Fire & Life Safety, 401 Murray Avenue – Fort Totten, Bayside, NY 11359, no later than Friday, November 15th, 2019.
