On Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 1030 hours, a memorial mass will be held commemorating the 10th Anniversary of the supreme sacrifice of Firefighter Christian Engeldrum, L-61, who was killed in combat while serving in Iraq on November 29, 2004. The mass will also honor 43 FDNY members who have been killed while serving in the Armed Forces. The mass will take place at St. Benedict’s Church, 2969 Otis Avenue, Bronx, NY. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.
