The 20th Annual New York State Fallen Firefighters Memorial Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the memorial site on the Empire State Plaza in Albany, NY, and will honor 118 firefighters who gave their lives in the line of duty. FDNY members account for 114 out of 118 of these fallen heroes.

After asking Delegates to poll their respective members The UFA will be providing 5 buses to Albany. All buses will depart at 7AM SHARP. They will leave Albany and return to NYC with the intention of being back by the 6×9 tour. The length of the Ceremony and traffic conditions are unpredictable, and we cannot guarantee that the buses will be back in time. We are asking all Firefighters to contact their respective Delegates if they have any questions regarding this subject. Any Delegates with questions of their own should contact their Trustees.

• 2 buses to leave and return from the Bronx Zoo parking lot located at 182nd Street and Southern Blvd..
• 1 bus to leave and return from Cunningham Park parking lot located at 196th Place and Union Turnpike in Queens.
