The New York City Fire Museum will open a new exhibit, “Becoming the Bravest” on October 18th. All FDNY firefighters—from the newly graduated to the highest-ranking uniformed officer, the Chief of Department—start in the same place: The Probationary Firefighters School at the Fire Academy, aka “Probie School.”  This special exhibition educates visitors about the incredible journey undertaken to become New York’s Bravest. Members and families are welcome to visit the museum and check out the new exhibit.
