On Sunday, October 12th at 11am, a Playground Dedication will be held honoring the memory of Fire Marshal Martin J. McHale, BFI Citywide North Command, who died on December 24, 2014. The dedication will take place at the playground, Fort Totten, adjacent to building 402. The dedication will be followed by “It’s Your Park Day”, a day devoted to the planting of bulbs and the beautification of the playground. All are welcome to participate or just enjoy a celebratory barbecue.
