The Lt. John M. Clancy/FF Jimmy O’Shea Memorial Scholarship Fund will mark its 21st anniversary of service to our members by presenting six $1000 awards to full time college students who are children of active members of the Department. Three scholarships will be awarded exclusively from attendees of the golf outing or dinner reception. To be eligible, you must complete an application and provide proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university by September 15th. For applications send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to FF Rich Berkhout, E-298 (Ret.), 26 Newport Beach Blvd., East Moriches, NY 11940. The Scholarship Awards will be randomly selected through a lottery at the reception following this year’s Lt. John M. Clancy/FF Jimmy O’Shea Memorial Scholarship Golf Outing. The golf outing will take place on Friday September 30, 2016 at Mill Pond Golf Course in Medford L.I., NY. The outing is all-inclusive and costs $175. Dinner only guests cost $100.
