The SSG Chris Engeldrum FDNY VFW Post 12033 would like to extend an invitation to all FDNY members to attend the funeral of Army Private 1st Class Emmanuel Mensah. Private 1st Class Emmanuel Mensah died on December 28th, 2017, after rescuing 4 people during the 4th Alarm at Bronx Box 3303 2263 Prospect Ave. The US Army posthumously awarded him The Medal of Valor for his actions on that day. The funeral will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 627 East 187th Street, Bronx, NY 10458 on Saturday, February 17th, 2018, at 10:00 am.
