On Sunday, May 8th, at 10am, the Church of the Assumption, 15 Webster Avenue, Staten Island, NY will hold a mass in honor of all members of the FDNY and to celebrate the feast of St. Florian (Patron Saint of Firefighters). Immediately following the mass, there will be a ceremony at the Chapel of St. Paul, 145 Clinton Avenue, Staten Island, NY, located a few blocks away, where a memorial dedicated to members of the FDNY who died in the line of duty and lived in Staten Island is located. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.
