The UFA and UFOA Executive Boards ask for your support in our Nation’s Capital as we call on Congress to enact the Never Forget the Heroes: Permanent Authorization of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund Act (H.R.1327/S.546) sponsored by Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. Bus transportation will be provided for both UFA and UFOA members leaving from Randall’s Island at 5:00 AM sharp. Members not taking the bus should arrive in DC around 9:30 AM. The hearing will be in Main Judiciary Hearing Room, 2141 Rayburn House Office Building, between 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Members taking the bus should expect to be back in NY around 6:00 PM. Due to limited space inside the Committees Chambers, we are asking that any members contact their respected Unions.
