The COVID-19 Moderna vaccine is currently being distributed to members at 3 Fire Department locations.  Members are encouraged to make an appointment and get vaccinated as soon as possible.

To make an appointment, visit the FDNY Learning Management System (LMS). See the second page of this Safety Message for instructions on accessing the LMS system and further details regarding the registration and scheduling of vaccine appointments.

If you are unsure of your decision to accept or decline the vaccine and still have questions, please watch the below video, in which UFA President Andrew Ansbro and professional virologist Dr. Eain Murphy address the vaccine questions submitted by members.

LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

  • To access LMS from a Department mobile device or computer:
    • Navigate to the FDNY Intranet homepage then access the applications dropdown on the left side of the homepage and select Learning Management System (LMS).
  • To access LMS from your personal computer:
    • Use a browser such as Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari to navigate to http://www.fdnycampus.org.
    • Please note that Internet Explorer is NOT a supported browser.
  • To access LMS from your personal mobile device:
    • Open the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android) to search for “SumTotal Mobile” and install the app on your device.
    • When prompted for the configuration site, enter https://fdny.sumtotal.host.
  • Initial Login Credentials:
    • If you have not already signed on to LMS, your initial login is your seven-digit employee reference number, and your initial password is FDNYLMS1 (case sensitive).
    • You will be prompted to create a new password after your initial login.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Registration:
    • On the LMS Home Page, click on “Click Here To Register” on the COVID-19 Vaccination graphic. You will then choose to accept or decline the vaccination.
    • Follow the prompts to either schedule an appointment if you accept the vaccine, or complete the short questionnaire if you decline the vaccine.
    • For step-by-step instructions on accepting or declining the vaccines, and for a detailed set of instructions to register and schedule your COVID-19 vaccination appointment, refer to Buckslip # OPS-20-12-10.
  • Tech Support:
    • If you’ve forgotten your password or encounter any technical issues with LMS, please notify the FDNY Technical Support Center at 718-999-2611.
