Joseph Bonanno, retired firefighter with 21 years in the FDNY and author of several firehouse cuisine cookbooks, including The Healthy Firehouse Cookbook (Hearst 1995), The Firehouse Grilling Cookbook (1998), and most recently, American Firehouse Cuisine (2021), has recently launched a new firehouse cooking show. The show, set in a nostalgic NYC Firehouse, keep the tradition of firehouse cooking alive with recipes, culinary instruction and stories.
