St. Francis de Sales RC Church 614 Rt . 517, VernonRetired Firefighter William Francis Thompson, also known as BT or Willie T, served the Department from May 9, 1999 until his retirement on November 30, 2010. Retired out of E37/L40, BT was also on first responder on 9/11/01. On October 21, 2022, BT passed away peacefully at the age of 51.
