The Annual FDNY 5K Turkey Trot, hosted by Engine 233 / Ladder 176 / Field Communications Unit, will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, next to the American Legion at 209 Cross Bay Blvd, Broad Channel, NY. Registration begins at 10:00 AM, and the race starts at 11:30 AM. Registration fees are as follows: Pre-Registration: $20 | Race Day Fee: $25 | FDNY Retirees $15 | Chili Cook Off $20 | Race Sponsorship: $150.  

Turkeys awarded to: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Male and Female winner |  Best Team (4 runners from the same house) | Best Parent (with stroller) | Senior Man (over 55) | Best Chili | #50-100-150-200-250-300-350. Post run hot dogs and beverages to follow. Payment can be made via check made out to “Ladder 176 Engine 233 Turkey Trot” and mailed to 25 Rockaway Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11233, or via Venmo – @Tinouse. Proceeds raised go to charities within the FDNY or to families of firefighters with an illness or unfortunate death.
