The Billy Moon Foundation was created in memory of fallen FDNY firefighter William P. “Billy” Moon II, who lost his life on December 20, 2022 after a fall on December 12, 2022 in the quarters of Rescue 2. In the wake of sadness, Billy’s family honored his wishes and donated his organs, saving the lives of five others, including two retired FDNY members.
