The Department will be hosting a virtual ceremony on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 4:00 PM as they remember 32 members of the FDNY that have passed over the last year due to illnesses from their rescue and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center 23 years ago. The ceremony will honor these members and keep their memory alive as they are added to the WTC Memorial Wall. The ceremony can be viewed online at www.NYC.gov/FDNY.
