A reminder to members that the Fire Department is once again participating in City Harvest’s Annual Daily News Food Drive.  Last year, New Yorkers donated over 700,000 pounds of food to help feed neighbors in need. All firehouses and most EMS Stations have been designated as collection points for the public who wish to donate canned food. City Harvest will pick up all types of canned, dry packaged food. City Harvest does not accept food packaged in glass or perishable food, i.e., meat, fruit, dairy.
