A reminder to members that the Fire Department is once again participating in City Harvest’s Annual Daily News Food Drive. The drive will run from Tuesday, October 22, 2024, through Friday, January 17, 2025. Last year, New Yorkers donated over 640,000 pounds of food to help feed children and families in need. All firehouses and EMS Stations have been designated as collection points for the public who wish to donate canned food. City Harvest will pick up all types of canned and dry packaged food packed in sturdy boxes or bags with a maximum weight of 50 pounds.
