Join Arlene’s Army in the Lustgarten Foundation Pancreatic Cancer Walk on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Franklin D. Roosevelt Park located between Father Capodanno Blvd and Seaview Ave in Staten Island. Event village opens at 8:30am and walk will start at 9:30am. Arlene was a beloved mother and wife of retired Firefighter Roger Montalvo of Engine 201. She worked as an RN in St. Vincent’s Hospital and succumbed to her disease in October 2023. Join Arlene’s Army and donate in honor of her loving memory and ensure that no other families will go through the heartbreak and loss they are experiencing during this difficult time. There will be an after-walk luncheon from 1:00pm-4:00pm with assorted appetizers and pizza at Jimmy Max Restaurant located at 280 Watchogue Rd in Staten Island.
