Members and their families are invited to attend a Plaque Dedication and Street Renaming Ceremony in honor of retired Battalion Chief Christopher D. Scalone from Battalion 53 on Friday, November 1, 2024, at 11:00 am in their quarters located at 64-04 Springfield Blvd in Queens. Battalion Chief Scalone succumbed to WTC-related illness on November 13, 2023. The ceremony will honor his memory and sacrifice. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.
