Members and their families are invited to attend a Street Renaming Ceremony in honor of retired Firefighter Frederick Fausak of Battalion 21 on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 3:00pm, at the crossroads of Alter Ave & Plattsburg Street in Staten Island. Firefighter Fausak served the department for 28 years and was also a Deacon at the Church of St. Andrew in Staten Island. Firefighter Fausak passed away on July 29, 2023. The ceremony will honor his memory and sacrifice. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.
