The Fire Academy’s Proby Pavilion will be dedicated to the memory of FDNY Probationary Firefighters assigned to the Bureau of Training when they made the supreme sacrifice in a dedication ceremony on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 11:00am in Building 11 Cafeteria of the Fire Academy.  Dedications include Firefighters James Sears, who died on November 11, 2008 and Vincent L. Malveaux, who died on December 3, 2021, along with BOT Firefighters detailed to field units the week of September 11, 2001 who made the ultimate sacrifice that day, including: Richard Allen L15, Calixto Anaya Jr. E4, Michael D’Auria E40, Andrew Brunn L5, Michael Cammarata L11 and Anthony Rodriguez E279.  Members and families are welcome. Members are asked to attend in Class A Uniform. The Department will also  livestream the event online at www.youtube.com/yourfdny.
