The Fire Family Transport Foundation is looking for volunteers to drive active and retired members when needed. They would like to place a car in the Westchester / Putnam area but need at least 25 volunteers to do so. As of now, the NYC Firefighters of Hudson Valley East have 12 volunteers, so Fire Family Transport is looking for additional help. Additionally, a meeting will be held on Thursday, February 16 at 12:00 PM at the Knights of Columbus, located at 10 Fair Street in Carmel, NY 10541. Those interested in volunteering are asked to bring a copy of your driver’s license.
