September 2, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Are you interested in converting your college credits and putting it towards a degree? Does the idea of enrolling in an institution of higher learning excite you, but also leave you overwhelmed? Are you having trouble mapping out a degree completion program? Do you have questions about tuition reimbursement? Join Friends of Firefighters (199 Van Brunt Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231) on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 6:00-9:00 PM for a firefighter-prepared dinner followed by an in-depth discussion with FDNY Supervising Fire Marshal Matt Donnelly, Chuck Frank, Director of Emergency Management and Business Continuity at Metropolitan College, and FDNY Ret. special guest Scott Kiernan on the application and admissions process for FDNY firefighters who are curious to learn more about pursuing higher education. Matt, Chuck, and Scott can help gather your resources, establish your plan, and answer any questions you may have about application processes. Additionally, the Director of Admissions at MCNY will be present that night in case anyone wants to be signed up right then and there. This event is FREE for FDNY firefighters. No RSVP necessary.
