Friends of Firefighters, in partnership with Livestrong, is hosting a 5-day, 343-mile bike journey from September 6 – September 10, 2026. This event honors the 25th anniversary of 9/11 while raising critical funds for first responder cancer resources. We now have a registration option to join us for the final day for individuals who wish to ride alongside us for the conclusion of this journey. Final Day Ride Details: September 10, 2026: 50 miles from Stamford, CT to New York City. Nearly 200 participants will make ceremonial stops at the Riverside Firefighters Memorial, 9/11 Memorial and closing ceremonies will be held in Battery Park. Registration Deadline: August 15, 2026.
