This year 13 FDNY members will be honored during the 2026 National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend, taking place May 2 and May 3, 2026. The loss of a Firefighter is felt deeply by the nation’s fire service family and we hope you can join us in honoring America’s fallen Firefighters and their families and in paying tribute to all those who carry on the tradition of service.

The National Fallen Firefighters Memorial and Memorial Weekend are located at FEMA’s National Emergency Training Center (NETC) Campus, which is a secure federal facility. Credentials are required for the Department members who are serving as Honor Guard personnel, family escorts, or participants in the Uniformed Support group sessions on Saturday, May 2. Information about where Department members pick up Memorial Weekend credentials will be communicated via email prior to the event. REAL IDs are required at NETC.
