The FDNY Vikings will be marching in the Norwegian Day Parade in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, on Sunday, May 19, 2019. All are invited to join. The Vikings will line up on 3rd Ave, between 83rd & 84th Streets at 1:00 PM. The Parade steps off at 1:30 PM and proceeds along 3rd Ave to Bay Ridge Ave, turns right to 5th Ave and finishes at the reviewing stand on 67th Street between 6th and 7th Ave. The trailer with the replica of a Viking long ship will be at the parade. The long ship carries the Viking bell which is inscribed with the names of the six members of the FDNY Vikings who lost their lives on 9/11/2001.
