Drop by Friends of Firefighters (199 Van Brunt Street Brooklyn, NY 11231) between 8-11 AM on Wednesday, August 14, for another delicious breakfast prepared by retired firefighter Pete Calascione and friends. As always, breakfast is free and open to FDNY members, active and retired, and their families. No RSVP needed, just your company and appetite. For those unfamiliar with FoF services, the monthly breakfasts are a great way to see how FoF operates and tour their main facility, a circa 1870’s firehouse in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
