The Tunnel to Towers Foundation will host the 13th Annual Bravest BBQ on Saturday,
October 7, 2023, rain or shine, at the Hillside Swim Club, located at 151 Signs Road in
Staten Island. The event runs from 12:00 – 5:00pm. Admission costs $35 for adults if
purchased online, or $45 at the door (children 14 and under get in free) and includes a day of food, drinks, music, rides and games. This year’s BBQ will honor DC Vincent J. Mandala, D11, Lt. William H. Irvine III, E156, Lt. Joseph W. Maiello, L83, FF Richard S. Murray, E205 and FF Mark Ryan, L87. FDNY Chief of Department, John Hodgens, will be honored as the 2023 “Man of the Year.” All proceeds will benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and its programs that support our nation’s heroes and their families.
