The family of FF Mike Carlo E230 invites all members to attend a ceremony to rename a Key West home-ported 55’ vessel for FF Mike Carlo, whose life was taken in the 9-11 terrorist attack.

In October 2001, Mike and his brother Rob Carlo L23 had a trip planned to Key West for Fantasy Fest Week and for Mike to captain their Key West barefoot sailboat charter. Mike loved Key West and sailing the islands. Tragically, those plans were ruined, but the City of Key West invited Rob, who was escorted by his fellow firefighters in 2001, to make the trip he’d planned with his brother. Twenty years later, in this vessel, Mike’s dreams will live on.
